Counselling young people is Kerry's passion and she has 6 years experience working with clients of all ages. Helping younger people to make sense of their feelings, boost their self esteem, and explore different ways of looking at the world.

Life can become tough for any of us at any age especially with young people, the pressures of exams, parents and generally becoming independent adults. Kerry can help you discover your own solutions and help to gain confidence back in society. As a child counsellor Kerry will listen to you, helping to discover what makes you feel confident again and getting back into main stream society. |
In our teens we are learning about life at an accelerated rate, often things we see and hear can be confusing. The transition from child to adult can create devastating thoughts of loneliness and fears of the world around us, counselling young people can help to make sense of your life. Coming to terms with situations, depression, self esteem, deaths any number of reasons can bring someone to want young peoples counselling.
Play therapy
Kerry works with play therapy, art therapy, puppets, toys and other media to look at how the world seems to the child. Counselling can help children understand what is going on for them and give them an outlet for powerful emotions.
Play therapy is known to help children open up difficult emotions they may not understand and works well as part of an overall conclusion to give a child confidence.
